Yokogawa CENTUM Integration

System Overview

Yokogawa CENTUM is a distributed control system (DCS) used in paper mills, often integrated with QCS functionality. The Dilution Control System can receive profile data via Modbus TCP or OPC interfaces.

Supported Systems

System Interface Notes
CENTUM VP Modbus TCP, OPC Current platform
CENTUM CS 3000 Modbus TCP, OPC Previous generation
ProSafe-RS Modbus, OPC Safety system integration

Interface Options

Modbus TCP

CENTUM systems support Modbus TCP communication via the Modbus interface module. Profile data can be exposed as Modbus holding registers.

OPC DA/UA

Yokogawa provides OPC servers for CENTUM systems. This is useful when profile data is already accessible as OPC tags.
