System Overview
Honeywell Experion QCS (formerly Measurex) provides advanced quality control for paper manufacturing. Integration with the Dilution Control System is available via Modbus TCP or OPC DA interfaces.

Interface Options
Modbus TCP (Recommended)
Modbus TCP provides reliable, real-time access to profile data. Requires configuration in the Experion system to expose profile data via Modbus server.
OPC DA (Alternative)
OPC DA provides access to the full Experion tag database. Useful when profile data is already available as OPC tags.

Experion-Side Configuration
Work with your Honeywell engineer to configure Modbus export of profile data:
- Enable Modbus TCP server in Experion configuration
- Configure profile array export to Modbus registers
- Set up profile status and average as additional registers
- Document the register map for Dilution Control configuration

OPC DA Configuration
If using OPC DA interface:
- Install Honeywell OPC Server on the control PC or accessible server
- Configure OPC client connection in Dilution Control
- Map profile array tag to scanner input
OPC DA is a Windows COM/DCOM technology. Ensure proper DCOM security configuration for remote access.
